Demand Answers on National Guard Domestic Deployment by October 28

October 28

Investigate the mission, command structure, and legal authorities of the National Guard Quick Reaction Force and National Guard Response Force, and provide a full public accounting by October 28, 2026. The American public has a right to know how many troops are designated under these forces, where they are located, and who commands them. Deploying the National Guard in domestic contexts without clear legal grounding and transparent oversight is a direct threat to the constitutional order. These are not abstract concerns. Using military assets against civilian populations or political opposition is the kind of action that defines authoritarian governments, not democratic ones. As the quote circulating among military observers puts it, "The future of our democracy and the prosperity of the Americans we all serve depends on maintaining our military's nonpartisan tradition." That tradition is worth defending loudly and on the record. Push back on executive overreach that puts our armed forces in a politically compromised position, and demand those answers now.
