Reject Senator Marshall's discriminatory anti-transgender bill, uphold equality
To: Sen. Moran, Sen. Marshall, Rep. Estes
From: A constituent in Wichita, KS
November 22
Senator Marshall, I urge you to reconsider your harmful and discriminatory bill targeting transgender individuals. Instead of pursuing divisive legislation that infringes on the rights and freedoms of a vulnerable community, focus your efforts on addressing the real issues facing Kansans. Promoting intolerance and erasing the existence of transgender people is a misuse of your position and a betrayal of the values you were elected to uphold. As a public servant, your responsibility is to protect the rights and well-being of all citizens, not target and marginalize a minority group. I implore you to withdraw this bill and work towards creating a more inclusive and just society for all Kansans.
