Because Of DOGE And RFK Jr Cancer Research Is Under Attack! In 2025, hundreds of cancer research programs were shut down. We are losing revolutionary new treatments for childhood brain cancer, breast cancer, and lung cancer, among many others. 118 clinical trials have been interrupted. Over 3,000 cancer research projects have been denied. Over $640 million in cancer research grants have been cut. Now, Americans are fighting back. After thousands of our calls, letters, and petitions, Congress reversed the biggest funding cuts, but the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) is refusing to release all the funding. We are so close to victory, but we need to turn the pressure up before more treatments are lost. What We're Demanding: Restore ALL funding for life-saving medical research. The OMB should immediately release all funds approved by congress to research cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Congress should use their oversight authority to demand answers and force release of funding with the impoundment control act. Stop "front-loading" studies - NIH is tying up years of research funding with "front-loaded" payments, reducing the number of new projects that can be funded each year. Remove the 15% indirect cost caps - Medical research requires clean facilities, modern infrastructure, IT support and security. OMB's 15% indirect cost cap handcuffs researchers with bureaucratic restrictions. This is a fight we must win! A Constituent Disgusted With The Way Republicans Are Throwing Away Democracy, And Returning The Country Back To An Age Of Racism & Poverty Of The Dark Ages.
