The tax code is broken and byzantine in its complexity. Many parts have not been updated in decades (see form 2441). I petition that every member of congress should have to complete taxes publicly using only pen and simple calculator. This would be based on imaginary family and small business scenarios for privacy. Those without passing grades would be put in the pillory and later sent to sensitivity training before regaining their seats in congress.
