Restore Not One More Report & Investigate Its Removal

To: Sen. Schiff, Rep. McClintock, Sen. Padilla

From: A constituent in El Dorado Hills, CA

November 18

I am concerned about the recent removal of the congressionally mandated Not One More Report from the Department of Justice's website. This critical document, born from The Not Invisible Act of 2020, is essential in addressing the epidemic of missing and murdered Indigenous people. Its removal not only violates the law but also demonstrates a profound disregard for Native American communities and their sovereign status. The report's classification as a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) issue is a grave misinterpretation of its purpose and importance. This document, compiled from testimonies of tribal members, provides vital recommendations for combating a serious crisis affecting Indigenous populations. By removing it, the administration is obstructing access to crucial information and solutions that could save lives. Congress must take immediate action on this matter. First, launch a thorough investigation into who authorized the removal of this report. This act appears to violate the congressional mandate established by The Not Invisible Act of 2020, signed into law by President Trump himself. Second, demand the immediate restoration of the report to the Department of Justice's official website, ensuring all previous links are reactivated. Finally, hold accountable those responsible for this breach of law and trust. Thank you.
