Reject RFK Jr.'s Attacks on Childhood Vaccination
To: Rep. García
From: A constituent in Chicago, IL
January 8
I am writing as a concerned constituent to urge you to publicly reject and counter misinformation regarding childhood vaccination, including statements made by Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Vaccines are one of the most effective public health tools in history. They prevent serious illnesses, protect vulnerable populations, and save countless lives each year. Spreading misinformation about vaccine safety undermines public trust, endangers children, and contributes to outbreaks of preventable diseases such as measles, whooping cough, and polio.
As a member of Congress, you have the responsibility to defend science-based policy and public health. I urge you to:
Publicly reject anti-vaccine misinformation, making clear that childhood vaccines are safe, effective, and essential.
Support policies and funding that increase vaccination access, education, and outreach to all communities.
Promote accountability for public figures who spread harmful misinformation that endangers children.
Protecting the health of our nation’s children should transcend political divisions. Congress must take a firm stand for evidence-based medicine and public safety. Silence or neutrality in the face of vaccine misinformation puts families and communities at risk.
I expect a public statement outlining your position and your commitment to defend childhood vaccination and public health.
