I am writing to you today as a concerned constituent to express my absolute outrage regarding the recent conduct of Kash Patel. The reports and footage of Mr. Patel appearing visibly intoxicated on camera while partying with the U.S. hockey team—all while traveling on the taxpayer’s dime—represent a staggering breach of public trust and a dereliction of professional duty.
The standards for high-ranking government officials must be unwavering. Using public funds to facilitate personal excess is not merely a lapse in judgment; it is an affront to every hardworking citizen in Wyoming and across this country. This abomination of behavior undermines the integrity of the office he holds and projects a message of entitlement and lack of discipline to the international community.
Public office is a privilege, not a personal playground. When an official demonstrates such a blatant disregard for the dignity of their position and the value of public resources, they forfeit the right to lead.
I am calling on you to take the following actions immediately:
• Publicly condemn these actions as unacceptable and beneath the dignity of the United States government.
• Initiate and support formal articles of impeachment against Kash Patel.
• Demand his immediate removal from office to ensure that the standards of federal service are upheld.
The people of Wyoming expect their representatives to hold the line on accountability. I look forward to seeing swift and decisive action regarding this matter.
