HEGSETH's endorsement of the extremist "sphere sovereignty" doctrine and anti-democratic views render him unfit to serve as Secretary of Defense. His expressed desire to undermine public education and employ insurgency tactics raises grave concerns about his ability to lead the military objectively and constitutionally. Promoting Christian nationalist ideology that rejects church-state separation and democratic governance is fundamentally incompatible with the office's oath to support and defend the Constitution. I urge you to thoroughly scrutinize his stances and vote against his confirmation to uphold democratic values and civilian control of the military. Appointing someone who has shown allegiance to theocratic principles over constitutional republicanism would set a dangerous precedent.
