No Congress must review ICC sanctions order's civil liberties impact.
Congress should conduct thorough oversight to ensure the implementation of this order does not overstep boundaries by enabling deportations without due process, limiting free speech, or impeding the freedom of movement for U.S. citizens and residents. While safeguarding national security is paramount, it must be balanced against upholding fundamental rights and freedoms enshrined in the Constitution. A comprehensive review is warranted to maintain this delicate balance and prevent any unintended erosion of civil liberties under the guise of prosecutorial immunity for U.S. officials and service members. As our representative you need to work to influence and collaborate with others even on concerns you support.
