Demand Full Investigation and Prosecution of Epstein Drug Trafficking Network

March 4

I am writing to urge you to support Senator Ron Wyden's efforts to uncover the full truth about the DEA's investigation into Jeffrey Epstein's drug trafficking and money laundering operations, and to demand that anyone involved in this criminal network be thoroughly investigated and prosecuted. A 69-page memorandum from the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force Fusion Center, uncovered this week by CBS News, reveals that Epstein was one of 15 targets in a sophisticated multi-agency investigation that began in 2010 and involved the DEA, CBP, ICE, FBI, and Treasury Department. This was not a minor inquiry. The OCDETF Fusion Center specializes in dismantling transnational organized crime and drug trafficking networks, indicating the serious nature of Epstein's alleged criminal enterprise. Despite being marked unclassified, this document remains heavily redacted, with all 14 other targets' names concealed. The American people deserve to know who else was involved in this network and what happened to this investigation. Did it result in charges? When and why did it end? These questions demand answers, particularly given that the Trump administration shut down the OCDETF Fusion Center in 2025. Epstein's involvement in drug trafficking raises deeply disturbing questions about what he may have been doing to women and girls. Following the money is essential to understanding the full scope of his crimes and identifying others in his network who remain free. Senator Wyden has noted that numerous financial crimes run throughout the Epstein story, yet Scott Bessent continues to keep Epstein's financial records locked at the Treasury Department. I urge you to support Senator Wyden's Senate bill to force the release of these Treasury files and to demand the complete, unredacted DEA memorandum. Every person involved in this criminal enterprise must be identified, investigated, and prosecuted. Justice requires nothing less than full transparency and accountability.
