Stop the execution of Marcellus Williams
To: Pres. Biden
From: A constituent in Charlotte, NC
September 24
The state of Missouri is set to execute Marcellus Williams on September 24th, despite overwhelming evidence that his conviction was unconstitutionally flawed. The St. Louis County Prosecutor's Office has acknowledged errors in how evidence was handled, contributing to an unreliable conviction and death sentence. With lingering doubts about Marcellus' guilt and the flagrant violation of his constitutional rights, executing him would be an egregious and irreversible injustice. Missouri must not carry out this execution in order to uphold the principles of a fair justice system and prevent the ultimate wrongful execution of an innocent person. I urge you to intervene and stop Marcellus Williams' execution scheduled for September 24th.
