I am writing to you as a deeply alarmed and outraged constituent who is witnessing a full-blown constitutional and moral crisis unfold before our eyes. President Trump is escalating the United States toward an illegal and unjustified war with Iran — without congressional authorization, without valid intelligence, and without regard for the Constitution or the will of the American people. Our intelligence agencies have stated clearly that Iran does not have a nuclear weapon and is not close to developing one. Yet President Trump has openly admitted that he ignores the findings of U.S. intelligence and instead chooses to trust what the Israeli government tells him. This is not diplomacy. This is not national security. This is delusion, and it is dangerous. The President's public statements threatening Iran, including telling civilians to evacuate Tehran, are erratic, inflammatory, and recklessly escalate the possibility of war. These are not the actions of a leader operating within constitutional bounds — they are the actions of someone unfit for office and detached from both reality and legal constraint. Even more disturbing is the influence of individuals like Mike Huckabee, who appears to be encouraging a religiously driven agenda where only "God's will" matters — not the U.S. Constitution, not the will of the American people, and not even the law. America is a pluralistic democracy, not a theocracy. The Founders were explicit about the separation of church and state. This government is supposed to serve all Americans — not just the religious right or those claiming divine authority. This moment demands swift and courageous action: • Congress must immediately reconvene to block any unauthorized military action against Iran. • The War Powers Resolution must be enforced, and the President must be reined in before irreversible damage is done. • Articles of impeachment must be filed without delay. President Trump has shown contempt for constitutional authority and has placed the entire country — and global stability — in peril. We have already seen how lies about weapons of mass destruction led us into one catastrophic war. We cannot allow it to happen again. The American people do not support another endless war. If you fail to act now, it will be seen as complicity — not just in a policy failure, but in a crime against humanity. This is a red line. If war begins, there will be unrest in the streets. I am not threatening violence — I am warning you of the inevitable consequence of unchecked executive madness. The people will not stay silent. We will not allow ourselves to be dragged into another unjust war by a president who is mentally and morally unfit to hold office. Do your duty. Defend the Constitution. Stop this before it’s too late.
