I'm writing to express my concerns about the Trump administration’s ongoing interference with our election systems. I ask that you defend the state’s constitutional authority over elections by refusing to hand over sensitive voter data to the DOJ and ensuring our elections remain free from federal government control. In addition, the Trump Fascist government has implied ICE and DHS officers will be present at polling places, like they are now at airports. Tell ICE they had NO part on our elections and that they must stay out of a 5 mile buffer zone around ALL election zone, weeks before the election, during the election, and afterwards. ALL election machines need to be inspected and perhaps all replaced ( if found to have irregularities or owned by the far right). Furthermore, elections this year may need to be conducted by hand to prevent further tampering from the Trump administration and their fascist friends. New intensive election training needs to be immediately rolled out and protections for election volunteers and workers. People volunteering should receive a day off from work that is paid ( just like Jury Duty) and if a person volunteers to work the elections, this should count in lieu of Jury service for three years. Elections volunteers are the backbone of America and need to be treated with honor and respect. This needs to be done immediately and proactively.
