What the heck is going on? The Trump administration mistakenly deported a man who they were barred from removing. While mistakes are understandable, this is precisely the reason due process is necessary--so we can catch mistakes before they get worse. But then the Supreme Court ruled 9-0 they need to get him back, and they still won't do it? They claim they are powerless to return him even though we are paying El Salvador to detain people without due process. How long are you going to let Trump ignore the courts, shred the Constitution, dismantle checks and balances, and use the power of the presidency to crush dissent. These are precisely the types of actions that led the US to rebel against Britain. Trump needs to be reigned in or removed from office. There is no longer any debate. Our democracy depends on it. History will not judge those who are complicit in this authoritarian takeover kindly.
