The Trump administration is withholding $180 million in science and medical research funding from UCLA. Half of the grants have already been administered, with the other half expected to come. Not only will this block $180 million in critical funding for scientific advancements but will waste the previously distributed funds and the research underway. This is a political attack on California, a publicly named enemy of President Trump, and we won't stand for it. Withhold our state fund contribution to the federal government and take a stand against this financial warfare. California is a large state full of tax payers contributing to a country that attacks our contributions.
