I am urging members of congress today to hold “X”, formerly known as Twitter, accountable for the immense amounts of harm the platform is doing to American democracy & politics. Recently, it has come to light that countless “American MAGA” influencers are in fact falsely represented accounts hosted on entire different continents! Purely made with the express intent of deceptively inflating GOP interest & popularity, & quite possibly acting to influence voters. This cannot simply continue to carry on unimpeded, Elon Musk must be held to account, I ask that any & all members of congress reading this message use any powers available to them to see this done, for the sake of election & overall political integrity. This is mass manipulation & must not be allowed to continue! This is an attack on American democracy!
