Yesterday in Minnesota, ICE agents detained a 5 year old returning home from school. A 5 year old and his father who have an active, legal, asylum case. Not violent criminals. Not “the worst of the worst.” A 5 year old. The familiar refrain that ICE is making us safer is patently untrue. They are detaining children and murdering citizens. Use your leverage. It’s past time. No funding for DHS until ICE is reigned in.
