No illegal disappearings (due process NOW!)

To: Sen. Moran, Sen. Marshall, Rep. Davids

From: A constituent in Prairie Village, KS

January 27

No government has the authority to detain, transfer, or conceal people outside the law. Any practice that results in individuals being held without charge, denied access to counsel, or removed from public accountability violates the Constitution and fundamental human rights. Due process is not optional. It applies to everyone, at all times, without exception. When the government bypasses courts, secrecy replaces justice, and abuse becomes inevitable. I urge you to immediately prohibit any form of unlawful detention or disappearance, require full transparency and reporting, guarantee access to legal counsel and the courts, and hold officials accountable for violations. Restore the rule of law. End illegal disappearings. Due process now.
