Ratify the ERA into the U.S. Constitution.
The ERA, if formally recognized, would confirm sex-based equality in the U.S. Constitution.
It would prohibit discrimination against people of all genders.
The ERA would empower the legislative branch to strengthen legal protections against 'sex discrimination' (in areas such as gender-based violence, education, the workplace, and access to reproductive health care).
With the ratification of the ERA into the U.S. Constitution, all people (regardless of sex) are guaranteed by the Constitution equal justice under law.
Using your terminology, 'finish the job', and get the ERA ratified into the U.S. Constitution now.
