What Trump has put into motion will devastate Schoharie County and your constituents, even the ones that voted for you, and for Trump. This is real. Perhaps your time on the sidelines of congress absent your leadership position will sober you up. Perhaps having your plumb UN ambassadorship yanked from you at the last minute by the man you have sold out every last one of your principles to will jolt you awake. If the pain and misery of those you purport to represent isn’t enough to snap you out of your trance, perhaps getting back at the man who dashed your dreams and left you stranded could be. It is time. Find your principles once more and oppose these cruel tariffs.
