Fix the electricity delivery charges

Can you explain why I have to pay ten dollars for a right to be a customer of eversource? It’s one of many charges that just don’t make sense. I have no choice but to be their customer they should be making enough through all their other fees. My delivery charge is always about twice as much as my usage charge. It’s outrageous and doesn’t make sense. Why do you allow this?
