GOP MESSAGE TO THE WORLD: “WE’RE ALL MAD HERE”

Great job. Lower prices at the pump was one of the few, very few, things the Trump administration hadn’t managed to mis-manage. But they finally got around to messing that up too. It’s obvious to the world that Trump has no realistic plan for whatever it is we’re doing in Iran. He’s really good at market manipulation with his deluded but effective language. It goes up. It goes down. All based on…what exactly? Words. Just words. Lucy, Charlie, and the football words. If this administration has done anything positive it’s to show the world that most aspects of leadership in this country are just a facade. And once that facade is pierced, the whole ship of state seems rotten. When the rules of society, morality, and even the law are shown to be fungible, disposable, or optional, what’s to keep us in line anymore? Is corruption and greed and abuse of our power really the best we want to achieve as a country? Should we the people be satisfied with politicians who serve no real purpose other than to get re-elected? The GOP has made a murder/suicide pact with Donald Trump. And you’re still too frightened to do much about it. He’s ruining our place in the world. He’s wrecking our economy. He is abusing his power to go after ‘enemies’ and reward allies. He is corrupting the DOJ. And trying to corrupt our legal system. He is cozying up to dictators, even as the world shows him that is not what we want. He is locking up people, and we have no idea the extent of the abuse they are enduring. He is ignoring the needs of Americans as he builds golden monuments to himself. And persistently threatening the world with the power we gave him. He wants the government to serve only himself. And make him even richer while it does. Plus he’s obviously going soft in the head. And we the people will be forced to go along with it all, at least until November when we will make our displeasure known in the only way you listen to. P.S. we’re beginning to perhaps understand why Melania made her recent head-scratching Epstein back-pedal pronouncement. Newsweek: “Amanda Ungaro says Melania Trump knows she saw ‘compromising interactions’” “Amanda Ungaro, a Brazilian former model, has leveled fresh accusations about first lady Melania Trump and alleged ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein during an interview that published Saturday. Towards the end of the interview, Ungaro stated that while Melania never threatened her directly, the first lady “knows that I witnessed highly compromising interactions” over the two decades she was married to Paolo Zampolli, President Donald Trump’s former business partner and current Special Envoy for Global Partnerships. “Melania felt threatened, and while she did not threaten me directly, she knows that I witnessed highly compromising interactions over the course of 20 years,” Ungaro said. “She does not know the full extent of what I know—for I lived with Paolo for 20 years.” She did not specify what those interactions might be, but when asked if she would testify before the House Oversight Committee, Ungaro said: “Absolutely.”” Yes. Absolutely. Let her.
