Repeal the Anti-Boycott Act

To: Rep. Fitzpatrick

From: A constituent in Lansdale, PA

May 5

Boycotts are a peaceful protest and an exercise of the right to free enterprise. It is the right of every individual and every organization to engage in business, or refrain from doing so, according to their conscience. A country cannot be regarded as a protected class which may be subject to harmful discrimination. Relationships with countries are fundamentally political, not a matter of social justice, and the federal government has no moral or legal right to suppress the peaceful expression of political ideals. Vote against the amendment to the Anti-Boycott Act, and while you're at it, submit a motion to entirely repeal this assault on the first amendment.
