I am writing to demand that you take immediate, bipartisan action to hold former Attorney General Pam Bondi accountable for failing to appear for her subpoenaed deposition today, April 14, 2026.
The House Oversight Committee issued a lawful subpoena to Ms. Bondi regarding her role in the Department of Justice’s failure to release over 3 million pages of Epstein-related documents. Her recent removal from office does not absolve her of the duty to testify about her actions while in power. The DOJ’s attempt to claim she is no longer obligated to appear is a transparent attempt to obstruct Congressional oversight and hide the truth from the American people.
I am asking you to:
1. Initiate Contempt of Congress proceedings immediately if Ms. Bondi continues to defy the committee’s authority.
2. Reject any "official capacity" excuses used to block her testimony; the public deserves to know why half the Epstein files remain hidden.
3. Demand that Todd Blanche, as Acting AG, cease the DOJ’s legal interference in this Congressional investigation.
A subpoena is a requirement, not a suggestion. If private citizens are expected to follow the law, the former top law enforcement officer in the country must be held to the same standard. I expect to see your name on the list of those fighting to bring her into the hearing room under oath.
