VOTE NO ON THE SAVE ACT: This is a Red Line for Your Constituents
To: Sen. Cruz, Sen. Cornyn
From: A constituent in Bandera, TX
March 18
I am writing to express my absolute outrage regarding the SAVE America Act currently on the Senate floor. Let me be crystal clear: Vote NO on this bill, or consider your political career over as far as I and my community are concerned.
I am sick and tired of politicians pretending that disenfranchising millions of legal American citizens is "election integrity." Requiring passports and birth certificates for in-person registration—while simultaneously attacking mail-in voting—is nothing short of a coordinated assault on the constitutional rights of the people you were elected to represent.
This bill is a solution in search of a problem, designed specifically to make it harder for seniors, married women, and low-income Americans to vote. If you choose to side with this blatant power grab over the fundamental rights of your constituents, there will be no "moving on." We will remember this vote, we will organize against you, and we will ensure that every voter in this state knows exactly how you betrayed them.
Do not mistake my frustration for a passing whim. This is a red line. Protect the right to vote, or find a new job in 2028.
VOTE NO on the SAVE America Act.
