Another ICE killing. Another questionable self-defense claim. Again the US government is impeding local officials from investigating. This is EXACTLY what happened in Minnesota. We’re STILL waiting for investigations into the killings there. HISTORY IS REPEATING ITSELF!!! DHS/ICE/CBP is out of control and needs to be investigated and strongly regulated. Before the budget reconciliation they were funded through the ‘Big Beautiful Bill’ at 2 times their annual budget through Trump’s term. AFTER reconciliation they are now funded at FIVE TIMES THEIR OPERATING COSTS through Trump’s term. The is INSANE. ICE ‘claims’ the agents at the killing were not wearing body cams because ‘they can’t afford them’. Body cams should be a high priority. With the illegal actions of agents it’s not a surprise they are not. In the Texas killing, they are pressuring the witnesses in the van to self-deport rather than be available as witnesses. CONGRESS MUST ACT TO GET DHS/ICE/CBP UNDER CONTROL. THERE ARE CLEAR RULES FOR USE OF FORCE AND THEY ARE DEFYING THEM AND LYING ABOUT THEIR CRIMES. ACT NOW!!! Restore justice and help repair our country’s moral code.
