As elected representatives sworn to uphold the Constitution, you must firmly reject any plan to deprive U.S. citizens of their fundamental rights and subject them to potential mistreatment abroad solely on the whims of the executive branch. Protecting the inviolable rights and dignity of all Americans, regardless of circumstances, is a sacred responsibility. I urge you to speak out forcefully against this unconstitutional overreach and defend the cherished freedoms that define the nation.
