The mantra of SDNY, where Todd Blanche cut his teeth: “do the right thing, the right way, for the right reasons”. Blanche has violated all three legs of that principle. By his own admissions and actions, he has disqualified himself to be US Attorney General, the “people’s attorney”. According to the DOJ’s values, it is to be independent and impartial, to earn the public’s trust by following the facts and the law, wherever they may lead without prejudice or improper influence, and with honesty and integrity. In his tenure as Deputy AG and acting AG, has clearly shown himself to continue to be “the president’s attorney “, a clear violation of his oath department values and norms followed for decades. Please, please, please, take a stand against the outrageous and blatant corruption perpetrated by Blanch and this administration who are rapidly dismantling our 250 year democracy. The people are not happy as indicated by the president’s approval rating around 37%. Remember, you work for us, not the president. VOTE NO ON BLANCHE’S NOMINATION TO BE US ATTORNEY GENERAL!
