Oppose executive overreach and support Ukraine.

To: Rep. Spartz, Sen. Young, Sen. Banks

From: A verified voter in Carmel, IN

March 4

As a constituent, I ask that you please hold the executive branch accountable for its overreach in withholding aid to Ukraine, which was approved by Congress. This is an unconstitutional overreach of executive power, and threatens your own role in government. Although some of us predicted this crisis, Republicans repeatedly assured their base that their candidates were neither supporting a dictatorship nor Project 2025. Please don’t betray your constituents. Finally, it’s easy to infer that the executive branch is bullying some of our representatives to get them to fall into line. If this applies to you, I’m saddened by this. At the same time, being in the current majority, we are depending on you to find ways to keep us from sliding further away from our Constitution which you swore to uphold, including the values of respect for democracy and individuals.
