Seek diplomatic solution - avoid escalation with Iran

To: Sen. Cruz, Rep. Roy, Sen. Cornyn

June 22

This reckless act of aggression against Iran's nuclear facilities by the United States is deeply disturbing and runs contrary to diplomatic efforts for peace and stability in the region. Such unilateral military strikes risk severe retaliation, escalating the conflict beyond control. They constitute a grave violation of international law and undermine the global non-proliferation regime. Moreover, the strikes were not approved by Congress, rendering the President's actions illegal and an abuse of executive power. I urge an immediate cessation of hostilities, calls for the President's impeachment and removal from office, and a return to negotiations to resolve tensions through diplomatic channels. The path of dialogue and mutual respect must be prioritized over the destructive cycle of violence that only breeds more suffering. A peaceful resolution safeguarding human rights and upholding the rule of law is the wisest course forward for all parties involved.
