Once again, you confound me with your decision. WHY do you support Trump’s ballroom?!? You surely cannot justify it because of the event at the WHCD. That is a TOTAL non sequitur. Trump’s ballroom is an insult to the American people. His destruction of the East Wing — without notice or approval — was a typical Trump action. Act first and damn the opposition. Shove it down their throats (just like he did with the attack on Iran). He claims the American people will not have to pay for it. But even if we weren’t paying with tax dollars, we WOULD be paying with corporate influence purchasing (Trump’s favorite form of grift) Now the GOP seems to think American taxpayers SHOULD foot the bill. Why should we pay for an ENORMOUS white elephant that ignores the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s concerns? Next you’ll be all-in on Trump’s Arc de Triomphe. It would be MUCH better if you focused on passing reasonable gun control laws that would protect school children, abused women and the entire American public. You are NOT the man I voted for. You have changed — and not in a good way. Your glib statement about being bipartisan and anyone who objects has ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’ is gaslighting at its worst and ignorant at best.
