EPA - do your job - Reinstate the endangerment finding

To: Sen. McCormick, Rep. Houlahan, Sen. Fetterman

From: A constituent in Reading, PA

February 13

I am heartsick at Trump’s repeal of the EPA’s Endangerment finding. (“The endangerment finding, which states that the buildup of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere endangers public health and welfare, has since 2009 allowed the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to limit heat-trapping pollution from vehicles, power plants and other industrial sources.”) It is so far past time for mankind to make radical changes to protect the environment. Obviously, the job of the EPA is to protect the environment. It is literally the name of the agency. That anyone even needs to point this out is sad and infuriating beyond belief. So instead of taking care of the future of ourselves and our children, the Trump administration chooses to enrich themselves and spit in the face of science. So we will descend even more quickly and inexorably into a hellish future. Heartsick.
