It distressed me to no end to see that Senator Fetterman voted to confirm Pam Bondi for Attorney General. She had been very forthcoming on the record to state that she will be coming in with an agenda. Current and former Justice Department employees are alarmed. Bondi will be unwilling and unable to stand up to the White House calls for creating inappropriate investigations and to interfere with appropriate investigations. With this vote, Senator Fetterman has made it clear that he doesn’t share my concerns that this administration has been out to give itself raw powers to work outside the norms and the law. This was a shameful vote.
