Investigate DOGE Breach & Revoke Access to Sensitive Government Data

To: Rep. Feenstra, Sen. Ernst, Sen. Grassley

From: A constituent in Huxley, IA

April 15

I’m writing as your constituent to urge immediate action following recent whistleblower revelations reported by NPR on April 15, 2025. A DOGE engineer alleges that Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency accessed and exfiltrated sensitive NLRB data, disabled monitoring systems, and deleted logs to hide the breach. This data reportedly includes information about ongoing labor cases and union activities—some involving Musk’s own companies, presenting a serious conflict of interest. Even more alarming are signs of foreign login attempts and alleged retaliation against the whistleblower, including threats and surveillance. This is a clear breach of public trust and a threat to agency independence, whistleblower protections, and data security. I urge you to: • Launch a congressional investigation. • Subpoena relevant records and testimonies. • Immediately revoke DOGE’s access to federal data systems. • Consider legislation to prevent such overreach by privatized tech contractors. Government data must remain secure and free from corporate influence. Please act now.
