Vote against any bill, reconciliation package, or must-pass legislation that includes any provision of the SAVE Act. Attaching voter suppression measures to budget bills is a deliberate tactic to bypass real debate, and it cannot be allowed to work. Millions of eligible citizens stand to lose their ability to vote if this passes — that is not a trade-off worth making for any funding priority.
Delayed funding is recoverable. Disenfranchised voters are not. The right of every citizen to vote is foundational, and no legislative deal is worth compromising it. Don't be fooled by the packaging — the SAVE Act is the SAVE Act whether it arrives as standalone legislation or buried in an amendment. Hold the line.
