Congress needs to see the Iran ceasefire deal — all of it. The White House is refusing to share the terms of an agreement that affects U.S. military deployments, global energy markets, and Iran's nuclear program. That's not how this is supposed to work, and you need to demand full disclosure now.
Trump has been running this war for over 100 days without congressional authorization, in clear violation of the War Powers Act. The House passed H.Con.Res. 86 on June 3rd directing him to end U.S. involvement without explicit congressional approval. That vote matters. So does the fact that the U.S. and Iran are already giving conflicting accounts of what this ceasefire actually includes. Congress cannot provide meaningful oversight of a deal it hasn't read.
Any final nuclear agreement must be submitted to Congress for review and a vote before it takes effect. Officials are meeting within days to formalize terms — that window is closing fast. Use your oversight authority. Demand the documents.
