Earlier today, I left a message to your office to ask for your support in not voting for Chuck Schumer for office. I would like to now ask if you would consider nominating or voting for Chris Van Hollen for Senate Majority Leader. Van Hollen would make an incredible majority leader. He was instrumental in getting Kilmar Garcia back from the illegal detention center in El Salvador. He has proven himself to take action instead of twidle his thumbs and write strongly worded letters. The landslide victory on Tuesday happened in spite of Schumer, not because of him. We need a progressive leader to move the democratic party that aligns more with the younger generation of voters. I believe that person could be Senator Van Hollen.
