Subject: Request for Oversight and Public Accountability Regarding DHS/ICE Conduct I am a constituent in your district, and I am deeply concerned about the recent deaths of two Americans during protests related to the administration’s immigration policies. Reports indicate that DHS and ICE operations have become increasingly aggressive in ways that may be escalating risk rather than protecting public safety. Regardless of political affiliation, the loss of innocent American lives requires immediate attention. Congress has a constitutional responsibility to provide oversight when federal agencies’ actions may be contributing to preventable harm. I am asking you to: - Publicly address these incidents - Support an independent review of DHS/ICE operational conduct - Reaffirm that immigration enforcement must not endanger peaceful Americans exercising their rights This is not a partisan request. It is a call for transparency, accountability, and responsible governance. I expect a direct response outlining your position and the actions you intend to take. Two innocent Americans are dead after protests tied to the administration’s immigration policies — and Congress cannot stay silent. When DHS and ICE operations become so aggressive that they put peaceful Americans at risk, oversight isn’t optional. It’s a constitutional duty. Thank you for your attention
