This balanced approach would address concerns about intoxicating substances while preserving the livelihoods of hundreds of thousands of Americans and maintaining access to potentially beneficial CBD products. It would also align with the growing body of research supporting the medical potential of CBD. Time is of the essence. With the ban set to take effect in less than a year, uncertainty is already causing economic disruption. I urge you to act swiftly to introduce legislation that protects non-intoxicating hemp and CBD products while maintaining appropriate regulations on THC.
