The proposed HB2827, given the comically fraudulent misnomer of The Homeschool Act, adds undue burden to homeschooling parents, many of whom are also special needs parents or working other jobs. It is ill-thought-out, and internally inconsistent. It will likely overtax public school districts as well, when they have to add overseeing homeschoolers to their already overloaded plates. Please serve your constituency by saying no to this bill.
