I’ve read about state troopers performing pit maneuvers injuring children more than once this year in Arkansas. Last year I remember a trooper performed on a pregnant lady with her hazard lights on. He said he was scared. For the safety of the public high speed chases should not occur. Or pit maneuvers. I understand they wanted to catch them but the Trooper needs to be very certain about who is in the car before performing the maneuver. There are times when it’s appropriate and times it’s their adrenaline. They are paid for public safety and we need some laws to protect us and the kids from the recklessness. Troopers are people too and need your guidance. Please use these unfortunate events to improve the safety going forward.
