Please restore health service funding for our special needs populations. I have 3 dear friends in their mid to late 70s with special needs children. They worry constantly about what will become of their children when they die! Will there be anyone to step in to assist and advocate for them? All three of my friends depend heavily on services through the Lee Specialty Clinic for their children’s healthcare needs. Without funding they feel abandoned by the government. What mainstream clinic will step in to fill the void that will be left when these specialized clinics close? In the waiting room at the Lee Clinic, the decibel level can be very high due to the lack of inhibition and volume control of these individuals. They will not be welcomed!
PLEASE, PLEASE HAVE A HEART! Don’t leave these people stranded. Restore funding now!!
