There is no insurrection. You need to call out Trump for lying when he says Los Angeles is staggering under insurrection and violent riots. The protests are largely peaceful and local officials maintain they can handle the situation. Trump is frantically working to escalate protests against ICE in order to distract the country from his many failures. And Trump is a reprehensible hypocrite. He didn’t react decisively during the January 6th insurrection attempt, during which 140 police officers were injured, and when the peaceful transition of power was under attack.
