I am writing to you out of shock that Judge Hannah Dugan was arrested by the FBI for not setting up a trap in her courtroom with ICE. This punitive lawlessness is clearly illegal and a tremendous overreach by the Trump administration. This is the act of a fascist, of a radical authoritarian who is abusing his power and breaking our democracy. What are you doing? We are past the time of bold action, we are now having to respond to tyranny. What are you doing? If you do not act boldly and loudly in response to this, you will be forever seen as complicit in our downfall, the doom of our democracy. History will not forget or forgive. Act. Boldly. Now.
