I am a wife, mother, and Outreach Director at our church here in Waukesha, WI. I am writing as your constituent to say that I do not support the actions of our President and do not believe he has the best interests of the American people at heart.
I do not support invading or taking over other nations such as Greenland or Venezuela, especially against diplomatic advise and to the detriment of our place in the world and among our allies.
I do not support using ICE, Department of Homeland Security, the National Guard, and others as the President's own private army to carry out his will to the detriment of state rights and values.
I do not support continuing to slash money from our most vulnerable citizens such as schools, those relying on medical assistance, or substance abuse programs.
As the President's policies continue to play out in our nation and state, I see daily evidence of the toll it is taking on our people. America should set the standard of how to treat human beings with dignity, lift up those who are struggling, and thrive together as a cohesive nation. We can have differences while still respecting each other as Americans.
Stand up and speak up today. Be bold and make decisions based on what helps the American people -- and us here in Wisconsin -- the most in the long term. Thank you for your service, as you work to support those of us here in Wisconsin who elected you.
