Because Congress now performs no oversight of the administration, it is getting away with fraud, corruption, and illegal activity every day. And the Republican party isn't smart enough to figure out that he won't stop until forced. It just gets worse and worse. A no bid contract to fix the reflecting pool to a firm that's never had a government contract and had no plan going in. The price on it has gone from $2M to over $13M... so far. The ballroom debacle that started at $200M of private money that nobody has seen or had visibility on (read "likely never existed") to $1B without any supporting data, now supported by many Republicans because, well, you're the party that can't tell the difference between priority for you constituents vs the Felon in the White House. The unauthorized and illegal war in Iran that will cost us over a trillion dollars and counting to recover. And you still won't even take a vote in the House. Now that you've abdicated your oversight role, I'm eager to see that in action for the next Democratic president. We're going to accomplish so much and Congress won't be in our way.
