I am writing as a deeply concerned American demanding immediate action. A federal judge, Aileen Cannon, has blocked the public release of the final report from former Special Counsel Jack Smith, restricting it from being shared outside the Department of Justice. This decision, issued in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, has placed critical information about our democracy behind closed doors.
We the people deserve transparency. We deserve truth. We deserve to know whether the President of the United States was involved in an attempted coup d’état against our own government.
This is not a partisan demand — it is a patriotic one.
No democracy can function when information of this magnitude is withheld from the citizens it serves. When questions surround the integrity of elections, the peaceful transfer of power, and the possible abuse of presidential authority, secrecy is unacceptable. Accountability cannot exist without disclosure.
Congress has both the authority and the obligation to act.
If the judicial order prevents the Department of Justice from releasing this report publicly, then Congress must pursue every lawful avenue available — including subpoenas, hearings, and public proceedings — to ensure the American people are informed. Democracy does not survive on silence. It survives on sunlight.
History will remember this moment.
Will Congress stand for transparency and constitutional duty, or will it allow vital truths to remain buried while public trust erodes further?
Release the report.
Reveal the findings.
Let the American people see the truth.
