Republicans love saying "respect the troops" until a Marine stands up to protest the war in Iran saying "No one wants to die for Israel." Then they kick him and break his arm. It is time for the Republican party to examine their stance on the Constitution and free speech, how Republican support of the military is performative, and how the toxic masculinity spewed by Trump, Hegseth, and others in the Republican party harm us all.
