Please do NOT vote to confirm Donald Trump’s mockery of a nomination for Secretary of Education Linda McMahon. McMahon’s so-called qualifications: Her father-in-law was a prominent professional wrestling promoter. Wanted to be a teacher, but gave up. Her husband founded World Wrestling Federation. Her husband received a haircut by TV Star Donald Trump. She lost two bids for Congress Donated 6 million dollars to first Trump Campaign Spent 1 year Connecticut BOE. Was on the Board of Trustees for a private college. Political appointee of SBA Chaired a couple Trump super-PACs Expressed some views in favor of “school choice” which robs public schools of publicly appropriated funds. That’s it. How can we entrust the future of a whole nation to someone with such paper-thin education management experience? Please exercise your constitutionally mandated oversight obligations to stop this travesty.
