I am urging you to vote NO on any legislation that includes funding for ICE—regardless of what else is attached to the bill. This moment does not call for hedging or procedural excuses. ICE has become a tool of fear, political repression, and authoritarian enforcement. Continuing to fund it is incompatible with any genuine commitment to democracy, civil liberties, and human rights. They can not in this moment shift to be proper immigration enforcement. It has gone too far. Senator Slotkin, your public position on this has shifted over time. This is not the moment for ambiguity or triangulation. You are either standing against fascism—or enabling it. I am watching this vote closely, and I will remember where you stood.
